About Sara Dos Santos
An Overview:
Sara Dos Santos is a multidisciplinary artist who works across theatre, dance, and cultural policy. With 17 years of experience, Sara works with a variety of creatives, cultural professionals, and organisations nationally and internationally, such as Greater London Authority, Dance Umbrella, East London Dance, Buckinghamshire University, Royal Court Theatre, Unicorn Theatre, Trinity Centre, and The Royal Exchange Theatre to mention few.
Values and Mission:
With an ambition to bring hope and freedom through movement and shift the invisible boundaries for Global Majority professionals, Sara’s work aims to build bridges and raise the profile of unrepresented voices in the UK and beyond. Working on large-scale projects such as the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm (Mayor of London priority program) and Create Your Docks (in collaboration with the Mayor of Newham and the Mayor of London) has empowered Sara to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible across Art, Culture and Creativity.

SWEAT is an American Classic writer Lynn Nottage’s 2017 this Pulitzer-Prize winning drama embraces huge political and economic ideas. As Movement Dircetor, Sara worked alongside Director Jade Lewis and creative team to bring this play to life.
